Champion: An internal advocate inside the buyer's organisation
A sales champion is an internal advocate at the buying company who sells for you when you're not in the room and has personal upside from the deal closing.
What is Champion?
A real champion meets three tests: they have influence, they have access to the Economic Buyer, and they personally benefit from the deal closing. A coach is not a champion. Champions are the single biggest predictor of deals over $50K closing.
